Rosalía

Mother of young children concerned about exposure to pollution from a drill site in her neighborhood every time they play outside. Rosalía wonders why the city won’t listen to parents’ concerns as French energy giant Total tries again to add more gas wells nearby.

Edgar

Lives less than 600 feet from more than a dozen gas wells and worries that it is causing his grandchildren's respiratory illnesses to linger, endangering their health.

Wanda

Has run a preschool providing a safe nurturing haven to hundreds of children in a disadvantaged part of E. Arlington, Texas, for over 20 years. After two failed attempts to add gas wells at their AC360 site next to her preschool due to community opposition led by Liveable, Total now plans to build a new drill site with 10 gas wells right next to the existing AC360 site, and Wanda fears for the health of the children in her care.

Phil

Has lived in his Arlington, Texas home for 40 years. Total and the city of Arlington keep adding more gas wells in his backyard, even as he has continued to speak out against them for more than a decade.

Mariah

Works at an Arlington, Texas, preschool now threatened by more gas wells behind its playground. Mariah is disheartened by the attitude of city leaders, but she wants to keep opposing this dangerous industry.

Corey

Father of a young toddler worried about how fracking pollution next to his preschool could affect his child’s health.
